Jinx was always defined by her sister Vi. Whether or not this was true, this was how she saw herself, ever since she was a child, made worse by Vi's supposed abandonment of her. Jinx refers to Vi being the one to 'create Jinx', not Silco, and at every move or her life whether it's voices in her head or seeing her sister again, to their final separation, Jinx has built herself in relation to her sister. That last meetup she sees that the same is true for Vi and Jinx chooses to sever their link. It's only last second that she chooses life and escapes. With that last connection broken, Jinx is trying to discover herself without the weight of the people, and all the bloodshed and destruction that she's caused or aided in, regardless if she deserves it--regardless if she thinks she deserves it. Which she doesn't know. She's figuring it out. She doesn't want to be a weapon, or a symbol, or a leader. She's going to leave her mark wherever she ends up. She wants to build, not destroy. She knows she's capable of it, she just needs to polish it out. PERSONALITY Jinx is like a firework oh, oh, oh. Loud, exploding art across the sky, and fizzling out slowly, with left behind debris. She's a lot at once. Stunning, bright, incredibly intelligent. She's terrified of being abandoned, will go to nasty, reckless lengths to prevent it, and usually immensely regret her snappish decisions. Her violent outbursts are now made worse with the shimmer backing her, and her already emotional instability feeds into the shimmer-fueled state with it being a terrible cycled concoction within her that she struggles to keep in check. She fears getting close to anyone because (as has been proven on numerous occasions), everyone that gets close to her always dies, somehow by her own hand. APPEARANCE Jinx cut her long hair down so that it's roughly very short fringe to the left side of her head and long bangs cupping her chin to the right. It's blue with a purple streak in the bangs. Her eyes are violet from the influence of shimmer. She has pale blue cloud tattoos down her right arm, back, and torso (likely all the way down her right side), on very pale skin. Very faint veins around her eyes permanently visible after the stress of her Shimmer operation. On her left hand, her middle finger is a prosthetic. She wears a black sleeveless leather shortened crop top over a white tank covered in neon and green paint, distressed purple and black striped trousers, and worn leather boots with purple laces, all accented with purple details. [ 1 | 2 | 3 ] MIND Unstable. It's been this way since she was a child, and the trauma of the rebellion taking away her parents, though the hallucinations back then were less severe. It's exacerbated by fear of abandonment and worthlessness by her sister leaving her behind when the kids go to save Vander (something that later haunts Jinx when it comes to Isha and the choice she made there), and worsening when she kills her entire family with one of her inventions. Vi calls her a jinx and blames her, leaving her behind. Jinx continually throughout her life is haunted by her family, with Mylo and Claggor being the loudest, though she told Vi that she always saw and heard her. VOICE Hoarse, raspy, easy rhythm. When she's in a good mood she's very boisterous and excitable, but on the flip side when she's morose it's lulled and an unsteady rumble. It can sharpen though, just like a blade.
